This led him to the Lutheran church...
and a completely new career.
Pastor Jeff attended seminary at
United Lutheran Seminary
and was ordained as a Lutheran
pastor in the ELCA.
Jeff now humbly & faithfully
serves the people of St. Mark's
in the beautiful town of China Grove, NC.

who we are
St. Mark's Lutheran Church has a long history serving the China Grove community. St. Mark's was founded in 1894 and sits at the original site at 326 N. Main St. in China Grove. Through God's free gift of grace, we are freed to focus on serving our neighbors and community.
We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), where we join others such as the United Methodist Church, the Presbyterian church, The United Church of Christ and the Episcopal church.
We encourage people of all backgrounds to worship with us.
We share in the understanding that we are ALL in need of God's grace and celebrate the good news of that Gospel.
This is Christ's church!
