Current Conditions:
Our congregation along with the Rev. Dr. Arnold R. Perry, Rev. Frank Kopania, Deacon Jeanne Batridge, and the Church Council welcome all people to share in its worship and ministry in proclaiming God’s love. The congregation at St. Mark’s is committed to being a loving and open community who support and celebrate on another through the love of Jesus Christ. It is through Jesus Christ that we reach out to each other, to our community and our world. We practice "Open Communion" - any baptized Christian is welcome to participate. You do not need to be a St. Mark's member, or even be a Lutheran to receive the sacrament. Children too young to commune, receive a blessing at the altar. Our Faith.

Youth Group/ Family News
Please let me or Josie know if you are interested in participating in the retreat at Luther Springs over the President’s Day Weekend scheduled for February 18-20th near Ocala. Unfortunately, our family will not be able to participate but I am willing to assist those who still would like to take part in this outstanding experience at the Lutheran Outdoor Ministries facility which has been upgraded recently.
This event is not limited to the Youth Group Members. Others may participate and are encouraged to do so.
Please add your name to the sign in sheet which will be up at church this coming Sunday, January 15th. Please sign up only if you are committed to participating since reservations will have to be made along with a deposit.
Also, we need someone to be able to take over the planning and day to day operations for the Youth Group starting in February. A member of the Church Council will be assigned the responsibility to work with the Youth Group as a liaison to the Council. I will be providing more details in my annual report as the current Council Person assigned to the Youth Group.
Respectfully,
Bubba
